Madeed: Architecting the Precision Longevity Stack for the Middle East

For most of human history, healthcare has been a “pull” system. We wait for a signal; a pain, a cough, a lump; and then we pull resources from the system to fix it. This is Lagging-Indicator Medicine. By the time symptoms appear, the underlying biological processes have often been in motion for years.

Today, we are seeing a massive shift toward Leading-Indicator Health. Driven by low-cost biomarker testing, AI-driven synthesis, and a global focus on healthspan, medicine is moving from “detect and treat” to “optimize and prevent.” This means acting on early biological signals; across cardiometabolic health, inflammation, sleep quality, and micronutrient status; long before disease manifests.

This shift is happening globally, but the Middle East; specifically Saudi Arabia; is uniquely positioned to lead it. With a young, tech-savvy population and a national mandate via Vision 2030 to prioritize quality of life, the region is hungry for a personalized, preventative health stack.

That is why we are leading the pre-seed round for Madeed.

The Thesis: The Biological Feedback Loop

The problem with the current longevity market is fragmentation. You get your blood work at one clinic, buy your supplements from a generic retailer, and track your sleep on a wearable; but none of these layers talk to each other.

Madeed is building the Unified Longevity Stack. It is the first platform in the Middle East designed to own the entire preventative health loop end-to-end.

By owning the entire loop; from advanced diagnostics to clinician-reviewed insights, and finally to a custom-formulated daily supplement, Madeed is turning health from a series of disjointed events into a continuous biological feedback loop. They aren’t just surfacing data; they close the loop with a clear, clinician-reviewed intervention based on that data.

Critically, the formulation layer is grounded in established clinical evidence, not consumer wellness trends.

The goal, for them, isn’t to control lifespan, which remains beyond human agency, but to sustain energy, cognitive performance, and metabolic health well into later life.

The Founder: The “Full-Stack” Clinician

At Vision Ventures, we often look for founders who possess a “earned secret”; an insight gained through years of deep work that others haven’t seen yet. Dr. Adam Bataineh is exactly that founder.

As a physician who has operated at the intersection of clinical practice and consumer technology, Adam understands something most longevity companies miss: longevity doesn’t fail because of science; it fails because adherence, UX, and behavioral friction are ignored.

His previous success co-founding Span Health (acquired by Eight Sleep) proved he can build products that people actually love to use. He isn’t just a doctor; he’s a product-builder who understands how real humans engage with health over the long term.

The Opportunity: A Regional Category Leader

The next generation of massive companies in the MENA region will be those that localize global scientific breakthroughs with regional operational excellence. Madeed is not just a local version of a US trend; it is a platform built specifically for a region with outsized cardiometabolic risk, centralized healthcare systems, and a population ready to leapfrog legacy care models.

By starting in Saudi Arabia, Madeed is tapping into a market that is ready to leapfrog legacy healthcare systems directly into the era of precision longevity.

We believe Madeed will become the default preventative health layer for the Middle East, helping individuals sustain health as they age, and we are proud to partner with Dr. Adam and the Madeed team at the very beginning.
