Vision Ventures Releases The MENA Tech IPO Report 2025, Forecasting Surge in Regional Listings
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – October 28, 2025 – Vision Ventures, a leading early-stage venture capital firm in the Middle East, has published a comprehensive report analyzing the evolving landscape of technology IPOs in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA). The report highlights trends, performance, and opportunities for investors and entrepreneurs as the region’s tech ecosystem matures.
According to the report, nine tech companies have gone public in MENA to date, with several more expected to list in the next two years. The firm projects that tech IPOs in the region could triple by 2027, potentially reaching close to 100 listings by 2030, spanning fintech, SaaS, ecommerce, and logistics. Investor appetite is growing, fueled by regulatory reforms, market digitization, and a new generation of experienced founders.
Kais Al Essa, Founding Partner and CEO of Vision Ventures, said: “The MENA tech ecosystem has transformed remarkably in the past decade. We are now seeing the results of years of regulation, digitization, and entrepreneurial experience converge. The next wave of IPOs will not only provide liquidity but also set benchmarks for the next generation of founders.”
The report examines the performance of recent IPOs, the sectors driving the current momentum, and the challenges companies face after going public, including governance, liquidity, and valuation dynamics. It also provides insight into upcoming IPOs and market expectations for 2026-2027.
Since its founding in 2016, Vision Ventures has invested in more than sixty startups across the MENA region, including Salla, The Chefz, Calo, Gathern, Tamara, Rain, RedBox, NearPay, and Spare. The firm works closely with founders on product, go-to-market strategy, financial planning, and leadership, emphasizing hands-on support to build sustainable, high-growth businesses.
“The fundamentals in MENA are improving, ambition is rising, and the momentum is real,” added Al Essa. “We believe the region is on its way to becoming a global hub for technology and innovation, and this next decade of tech IPOs will be a defining chapter.”
